The Government of India, vide its Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-07042025-262329, dated 07 April 2025, has approved the amalgamation of Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank and Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank (sponsored by Bank of Baroda), into a single new entity – Rajasthan Gramin Bank. This newly formed RRB is sponsored by the State Bank of India and is effective from 01 May 2025.
